Based in Ash, between Sandwich and Canterbury in Kent, Dogs Naturally is the South East's premier clicker and obedience training dog school. We believe that training your dog should be fun as well as effective, and everyone at our dog training classes, both pet and owner, has a great time whilst learning.

Way more than just dog trainining....

If you are looking for a "conventional" dog training class where you manhandle your dogs into position, shout when he doesn't do what you want, where there is a lot of barking, dogs throwing themselves around and the trainer stands in the middle of the room shouting above the noise then we are not the right training school for you!

We want our dogs to think, be part of the training "conversation", be individuals and most of all, to be a much loved member of your family.

We teach much, much more than just basic training - we explain elements of dog behaviour, pack leadership, discuss the effects of diet on your dog's behaviour and learning skills, as well as how to have fun with your dog so that you both learn in a way which is effective.

We have handlers and their dogs come from as far as the Romney Marsh, Ashford, Canterbury, Margate & Birchington, as well as those in the surrounding villages.  We would love for you to come and observe our training classes—we know that the handlers & dogs enjoy themselves and learn loads—but you’ll only know once you see us in action!

We run classes for puppies and adult dogs, including rescue dogs and unruly beasts as well as our top class.  We offer a programme specfically designed for nervous and fearful dogs as well as our NEW distance learning programme.   See the About our classes page.

Equal Opportunities

We offer equal opportunities for all handlers and their dogs.  We can offer classes or 1-1 sessions as appropriate, but we have worked/are working with deaf and partially sighted handlers, several Autistic/Aspergers handlers, a handler with mobility problems and a deaf dog. 

We also welcome dogs who are not conventionally vaccinated, but are treated with homeopathic nosodes.

At Dogs Naturally, our ethos is to teach your dog using a method which makes him part of the process, with a calm atmosphere so he can think and want to learn (not just react to other dogs chucking themselves around or barking) and that your time in class training is both fun and effective for both you and your dog.
